Biography
Pawel Wąsowski (born 1974 in Minsk Mazowiecki) is an architect and painter. In 2008 he defended his doctoral thesis at the Faculty of Architecture at the Warsaw University of Technology, where he subsequently became an academic teacher. He received a distinction from the Faculty Council of the Warsaw University of Technology for his dissertation, as well as an award from the Minister of Infrastructure in 2009. In his creative endeavors, he explores the correspondence between architecture and visual arts and the influence of architecture on painting and vice versa. Wąsowski's painting works are characterized by optical illusions, studies of issues in the perception of color and its impact on space.
