Biography
He divides his work between painting on canvas and paper, large-format murals and the studio where his original artistic, commercial, and craft projects such as custom artistic painting of motorcycles and helmets are created.
At the same time an artist, painter and illustrator as well as a designer and craftsman. He has exhibited his works in Poland (Kordegarda, DESA Unicum and other independent projects ) and in galleries in Germany, Spain, Switzerland and the USA. He has had more than a dozen solo and group exhibitions. His murals can be seen on city streets and in private homes from Los Angeles, Toronto, Taiwan, Tokyo through Berlin, Bristol and Warsaw....
The artist has roots in urban culture and comes from the skateboarding community. His works naturally moved from the street to the gallery walls. However, he never dealt with classic graffiti. His relationship with the street includes dozens of skateboard graphics for companies around the world and large-scale urban interventions in the form of murals.

The artist's main inspiration is nature and the placement of humans in the surrounding environment.
Human detachment from the world natural to us and the attempt to deny our place in the ecosystem as part of it is one of the themes of this study.
Man usurping the role of overseer and owner of the world and nature living its independent rhythm, which absorbs and spends its life on a daily basis, is reflected in the project, which has been continuing for the past few years, laboriously called "The Thicket.

"Thicket" is precisely the place where life is born and ends, in its incessant cycle. Voicelessly quoting the words of the Old Testament: "Be fruitful and multiply, that you may populate the earth and make it subject to you" as " completely misinterpreted says that: "...something has gone badly wrong here...".

As time goes by, Pavel Swansky's style and expression become increasingly abstract. The artist, known mainly for his cartoonish, contour lines associated with woodcuts, allows himself a broader form of expression. Inspired by the Japanese school of ink painting - sumi-e watercolors, and a more painterly and less contoured approach to the canvas are increasingly evident in his work.
