Born in 1954 in Aleksandrów Kujawski. In 1969-74 study at the State High School of Fine Arts in Bydgoszcz. Studies at the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Wroclaw. Diploma with honors in easel painting and painting design in architecture and urban planning - in 1979. At the end of his studies, he became a research and teaching employee of the Painting Department of the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Wroclaw. He currently heads the Department of Painting Technology and Painting Techniques and is a supervising professor. He practices painting and is the author of about 600 paintings on canvas. He has had more than 40 solo exhibitions.
