Patrycja Dyląg is an English philologist by training and a scholarship holder of the Universita per Stranieri di Perugia. She lived and worked in England for over 10 years, running a language school and working for Oxford Cambridge and RSA Examinations. She has long been involved in artistic creation. She is interested in interior design and furniture restoration. She currently lives in Cracow, Poland. Her favorite form of communication is abstraction, which allows the viewer to be partly the creator and which does not impose interpretation but encourages reflection.
The medium she usually uses is acrylic paints, often combined with structural pastes, acrylic inks or oil pastels.
Patrycja Dyląg creates contemporary abstract art, with an emphasis on the use of color. She follows her intuition in her painting, depicting records that are not always visible at first glance, but which emerge from within the paintings. Patrycja Dyląg likes the effect of penetrating colors and strong texture, so she often transfers this to her paintings. The color scheme depends on her mood and what she wants to convey in her work at the time. Often, though, they are strong and decisive colors.
