Painter, stage designer. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow in 1924-1930, later in Paris with Jozef Pankiewicz. He made his debut as a stage designer in 1932 in Lviv and was associated with the Municipal Theaters there until the outbreak of war. After 1945, he worked with the most prominent theaters in Poland. In 2003, the exhibition "Painters of the Theater" showed his most outstanding painting and stage design works.
