Oksana Kostrychenko (pseud. MalanijO) is a talented artist originally from Ukraine, who currently lives and works in Poland. Her wide range of skills includes printmaking, drawing and painting. However, pastel drawing is her favorite type of art. Despite this, the artist does not limit herself to just one medium - her oil and acrylic works also surprise with their versatility.
Expressive and full of content, Malanij's paintings are a demonstration of her established style, which she has developed over the years. Her works include a series depicting predators, women, cities and many other fascinating motifs. Acrylic and oil paints are the tools the artist uses to create her abstract works.
Oksana Malanij comes from a family of architects. She graduated from the Art School in Lutsk and then earned a diploma in interior design in the same village in Ukraine. Her talent has been recognized and presented at numerous exhibitions. In 2019, she had an exhibition entitled "Graphics of the Soul" at the Art-Corridor Gallery, where she presented more than 30 of her works. A year later, in 2020, there was her solo exhibition "Malanij.O." at the gallery "OBRAZ&GRABOVECKA" in Lutsk, Ukraine. In 2022 she participated in the exhibition "NURTY" at the Bydgoszcz Art Center, Bydgoszcz.
Today, many of Oksana Malanij's paintings can be found both in art galleries and in private collections. Her work is appreciated by art lovers from all over the world, and her works impress with their originality and the depth of emotions they evoke in the viewer.
