Natalia ROZMUS-ESPARZA (b. 1983, Poznań)
She holds a doctorate in art obtained in 2015 with the defense of her thesis "Plane description of reality used in spatial design". She received a Master of Arts degree in design in 2008 and in 2012 in easel painting. At the Poznan University of Arts, she runs her own design fundamentals studio teaching bionics.
In 2019, she received the badge of honor "Meritorious for Polish Culture" for her distinguished attitude in creating and disseminating culture. During her studies, she was the recipient of a scholarship from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, and in recent years her work has also been repeatedly recognized by curator Rebecca Wilson of the Saatchi New York Gallery. In 2015, she was awarded the Young Positivist Medal by the Hipolit Cegielski Association for outstanding achievements in organic work.
Since 2009 she has been a member of the Swedish artists' association Konstnärsföreningen Dymlingen, as the only representative from Poland. She is currently working with renowned galleries in Poland and abroad. The only Polish painter among the 37 most promising young artists, invited to participate in the Samsung project "The Frame". She was the only Polish woman to collaborate with the global brand Fab and Potato Mike Gallery in New York. In 2013-16 she was invited to collaborate by Dominik Jasinski.
She has had more than 20 solo exhibitions and many collective exhibitions. She actively participates in international art competitions, and is a winner of many of them, including the 10th Triennial of Small Painting Forms in Torun, and New Image/New Look in Poznan. Her paintings can be found in the author's collections of most European cities and in the USA, Australia, England and Hong Kong, as well as in the state collections of the cultural institutions Landstinget Jönköping and Kultur Jönköping Kommun in Sweden.
