Biography
Natalia Rak is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz. She received her diploma in the Spatial Graphics and Poster Design studio under Prof. S. Iwanski, and an appendix in the Illustration and Comics studio under Prof. G. Kolat. Since 2011, he has been creating large-format paintings in the form of beautiful murals on commission from around the world. Her focus on female-centered paintings while using a rich and luminous palette brings a breath of fresh air to the street art scene of which she is a part. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz in 2012, where she explored art through its history and discovered the work of classical and contemporary illustrators. Following Natalia Rak's work, one can see the influence of folklore tradition and fairy tales. The colors emphasize the spiritual power of these stories, giving them a surreal feel. Her works have been exhibited throughout Europe, in cities such as Düsseldorf (Germany), Barcelona (Spain) and Strastbourg (France). In addition, she has participated in many group exhibitions around the world and in the most prestigious street art events, such as POW! WOW! (USA), Art Scape (Sweden), Mural Festival in Montreal (Canada), Blink (USA), Memorie Urbane (Italy). Her outstanding work at the Folk on the Street festival in Bialystok, "Legend of the Giants" was included in the series "Street Art - ??Street Art" published by the Polish Post. In cooperation with the brand Medicine, she prepared a limited collection of clothes. Natalia works in a variety of media, from paper and canvas to brick and concrete, building a wide collection of works filled with complex symbolism, allegories of various kinds and a deep love for Nature that helps the observer escape from reality.
