Natalia Bażowska. Born in 1980. Artist and doctor of psychiatry. She creates paintings, photographs, installations, videos and objects. From 1999 to 2005 she studied medicine at the Silesian Medical University and from 2007 to 2012 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice. In 2007, she began her Doctoral Studies at the Department of Psychiatry at the Silesian Medical University, where in 2010 she defended her doctoral thesis titled "Evaluation of emotions evoked by visual messages in people suffering from depression." Since 2011, she has been working exclusively with art. In 2011 she received the 1st prize in the Artistic Journey of Hestia competition and the 1st prize of the Young Art Review "Fresh Blood" in Wroclaw. In 2013, she received an honorable mention in the 1st Modessque International Painting Competition, was nominated for the Geppert Competition, and was awarded the UAP Art Prize and the Collectors' Prize in the "New Image/New Look" competition. She has received scholarships from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage and the Marshal of the Silesian Voivodeship.
