Mykola Dorodnov - painter, pedagogue. Studied at the Kharkiv Art School and the Faculty of Art and Graphics of the Krasnodar Pedagogical Institute. Long-time lecturer at the Kharkiv Art School named after I. Repin. He is a representative of the Kharkiv school of painting, his work is in line with the paintings of Vasylkovsky, Levchenko and Tkachenko. In addition to lyrical landscapes, the artist creates genre paintings, and his paintings delight in the intensity of thought and depth of meaning of the artistic image. His works are in art museums in Kharkov and Kiev, as well as in private collections in the US, Canada, Argentina and Japan.
