Monika Szwed (born in Poznań 1978) - graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań. She defended her diploma thesis at the Faculty of Art Education under the direction of Prof. Alicja Kepinska and at the Faculty of Multimedia under the direction of Prof. Piotr Kurka. Laureate of the third edition of the scholarship program - Young Poland (2006), honorable mention in the E. Geppert competition (2007), scholarship holder of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage (2009). Works in collections in Poland, Germany, Great Britain, USA.
