Mira Smerek Bielecka
Born in Gizycko, Masuria, she studied painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun. She received her diploma in 1979 in the studio of Prof. Mieczyslaw Wisniewski.She was a scholarship holder of the Minister of Culture and Art in 1984. She and her husband have made artistic trips to the USA and Brittany at the invitation of authorities and galleries. Author of more than 20 solo exhibitions, participant of dozens of collective exhibitions. Works in Polish museums, foreign collections.
