The artist was born in 1935 in Chrostkowo. Member of ZPAP since 1995. He does oil, pastel and watercolor painting, printmaking, drawing and poetry.
He has had dozens of solo exhibitions. He took part in over 150 group exhibitions at home and abroad, including Germany and Japan.
He also won many awards and prizes, among others:
- First prize in the National Competition entitled "Woman", Bydgoszcz 1973.
- Two 3rd prizes for two graphics in the National Contest "Man, his life and work", Kwidzyn, 1976.
- Second prize in the Contest "Sacred monuments of the province of Wloclawek", Wloclawek, 1991.
