Michal Kwarciak was born in 1983. He is a graduate of the Opus Art Post-Secondary Vocational School in Sosnowiec, majoring in stained glass, and studying easel painting and painting in architecture and urban planning at the Jan Długosz Academy in Częstochowa. The artist has participated in more than a dozen plein-air painting workshops in Poland and abroad. He has presented his works at dozens of collective and individual exhibitions. In his paintings he captures moments from the borderline between reality and dream. His inspiration comes from legends and fairy tales, everyday life and his surroundings.
