Michal Jedrzejczak ( Michu )
Born in 1971 in Lodz, Poland
Painter, photographer, designer and creator of jewelry and sometimes interior design elements.
My adventure with art began with photography, which I learned at the Post-Secondary School of Design and Advertising in Lodz , under the guidance of lecturers from the Lodz Film School .
Photography and image - capturing the moment and stopping it in images was my passion , almost since childhood . I have always been passionate about stopping images , moments and transferring them to the surface of paper . Composition, form , and at the same time conveying emotions, fragments of life and enclosing them in frames, I have always been passionate about.
The thought of painting and changing the form of transmission of my own feelings , have been with me for many years
I paint abstract paintings , giving the viewer the possibility of free interpretation. Allowing you to release your imagination and adjust the viewed image to your own experiences , experiences , desires and fantasies.
In my works there is a multi-layering and discovery of new levels , colors , flashes .
Everything as in life , which is not black and white , not flat and one-dimensional .
In my paintings I try to show that everyone can see their Life in them . Sometimes complicated , changing , going from one color to another . Sometimes smoothly and without clear boundaries , and sometimes sharply and definitively with strong contrasts flowing calmly , regardless of character .
Clear boundaries in my paintings - moments of transition into another character , expression , order , are nothing but a picture of Life . Sometimes very complicated , which at some point changes dramatically and passes into a new reality . A reality either completely different or containing memories of past moments hiding behind a new life .
Painting for me is capturing moments , capturing "moments" , breaking down reality into small elements .
Painting for me is like photographing thoughts and stopping sometimes in the process of creation , because it turns out that what is created on the canvas in a given moment is already exactly what I want to show or something that should not be changed anymore , so as not to spoil .
I would like to give each recipient of my paintings ... freedom
Freedom to see, feel and what he wants. That's why my paintings do not have specific titles , but are only a certain mark , sometimes a word or phrase along with a code , which opens the possibility of its own interpretation , without locking the viewer at the outset in a specific vision .
Color , layers , boundaries and changes and transition from one reality to another ...are my abstractions
