Maja Wolf born February 13, 1981 in Grudziadz.
Visual artist, owner of Maya Art Gallery in Torun, instructor of painting and drawing, art dealer, organizer of exhibitions and art auctions. Trained as an interior and graphic designer, educator and instructor.
Since 2013 she has been a member of the Association of Polish Painters and Graphic Artists in Warsaw.

MAYA GALLERY

Since 2009 she has been running her own art gallery in Torun (Maya Gallery).
Since 2011 she has organized nearly 100 exhibitions of Polish artists (including J. Jaśnikowski, B. Michalik, K. Izdebski-Cruz, T. Bachanek and others).
Three times she organized an art competition for children and young people: Casting for the Mona Lisa ( 2011), My Mona Lisa ( 2015) and Mona Lisa in Torun ( 2016).
She has organized and participated in numerous exhibitions and charity auctions.

In the early years, she created on commissions for institutions, companies and individuals.

Throughout her life she has returned to surrealist painting. She loves to create her world through her imagination. For many years she was known for drawing realistic portraits and distinctive caricatures done with dry pastels, charcoal and pencils.

MAYA ATELIER

She has been teaching drawing and painting since 2013. In June and September 2019, she organized 2 original plein-air art workshops with drawing and painting lessons. From August 2019 to October 2020, she ran her own drawing and painting school Atelier Maya in Torun. The school was closed due to the prolonged Covid 19 pandemic.

• She won the Bronze Award for her painting "Aqua" and the Finalist Award for "Cosmic Thoughts II" in the international competition "Open 2023" organized by Camelback Gallery, USA.
• She was awarded second place for her painting "Letters from Sicily. Playing for Time" in Grey Cube Gallery's "Landscapes 2023" competition.
