"I am an artist, a mother, an inner voyager. I was born in a small town surrounded by forest, I grew up in metaphysical Silesia, I am a graduate of the PLSP in Katowice with a diploma in metalwork and this would be the last trace of my formal education. Since then, I've been moving through this trenchant field called art alone, reading mystics, anthropologists, religious scholars or psychoanalysts, browsing medieval bestiaries, museums with ancient artifacts, paintings by Renaissance masters or illustrations from alchemical treatises, and writing down dreams. All this then comes together in my drawings and paintings, which can be read like maps or icons, I try to make my works like labyrinths, leading the viewer on a journey whether into or beyond themselves."
