Painter and graphic artist, poster designer. From 1964 to 1968 he studied at the Faculty of Art History of the Catholic University of Lublin, and from 1968 to 1974 at the Faculty of Graphic Arts of the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts under Professors Henryk Tomaszewski and Stanislaw Poznanski. In 1974, he received a diploma in graphic design and painting. Professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, and also professor and dean of the Faculty of New Media Art at the Polish-Japanese Institute of Information Technology in Warsaw. He is the author of many albums, books and occasional multimedia publications, as well as artworks and projects for the United Nations and the European Union.
