Born in Rafalowka near Bialystok. She graduated from the High School of Fine Arts in Suprasl. Studied at the State Higher School of Visual Arts in Gdansk at the faculty of painting under the direction of professor Maksymilian Kasprowicz and assistant professor Kajetan Bereżnicki; annex from ceramics in the studio of professor Hanna Żuławska. She received her diploma in painting and ceramics in 1975.
In 1978, she received a one-year creative scholarship from the Ministry of Culture and Art. She is a member of the KERAMOS association. For many years, ceramic sculpture occupied the first place in her work, painting came second, but since the mid-1990s the roles have reversed. What is important in her work is the observation of light, the search for sign, rhythm, the sound of the whole. Simplicity is also important. The remembered world and the emotions and reflections associated with its images are her inspiration.
