"I have always been interested in art, especially painting.
I tried to visit every museum, gallery or exhibition that was within my reach.
I actively took up painting late, being already retired. I took my first steps at the House of Culture in Pruszkow. After a year, I joined the Pruszkow Salon, a prestigious painting group to which I now belong.
I took part in many exhibitions organized by the Culture Houses in Raszyn, Piastow, Zabia Wola, as well as in the annual art reviews " Talent, Passion, Intuition" organized by MOK in Pruszkow, numerous exhibitions organized by Salon Pruszkowski and charity auctions for the Actor's House in Skolimow.
I have also participated in several plein-air events, most recently in 2020 in Dluzew, a plein-air event organized before the WSP.
I can be inspired by almost anything: women, children, vivid colors, interesting light, shiny objects, reflections in the mirror, space.... However, figurative painting is my strongest creative force and especially portraiture attracts me with its eloquent richness. The uniqueness of the face even provokes me to individually reveal the secret that each personality, each human face hides. Form becomes secondary when observation dominates the senses and the brush."
