Polish painter, draughtsman, professor at the Faculty of Painting of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk.
From 1980 to 1985, he studied at the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Gdansk (now the Academy of Fine Arts), and defended his diploma in Professor Kazimierz Ostrowski's Painting Studio in 1985. He worked for many years as an assistant professor in Professor Jerzy Ostrogorski's Studio of Fundamentals of Drawing and Painting. In 2002, he was awarded a postdoctoral degree. Until his death, he was head of the Department of Basic Education at the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk.
