Marek Cierniewski's painting "Koscian" impresses first of all with its outstanding technique. The artist took up a neutral subject, perhaps uninteresting to some, depicting really not much - just a fragment of a country house. However, it is Cierniewski's painterly artistry that has made the painting eye-catching and invites detailed analysis of this small canvas, of every brushstroke. Despite the simplicity of the subject, the painter impresses with his interesting artistic technique.
