Manezha Dost - (born 1977 in Kabul), architect, painter, graduate and currently assistant professor at the Faculty of Architecture of the Cracow University of Technology, active member of IARP and SARP. In 2003, after defending her master's thesis "Kabul Land Use Plan", she was invited by an American company to work on a government project in Afghanistan. In painting, which is her passion, she mainly uses acrylic, dry pastels and pencil. She also uses elements of computer graphics in her work. Her painting was greatly influenced by her stay in Afghanistan, and the paintings on display reflect her attempt to convey reality as seen from a woman's perspective. In 2014, she organized a series of exhibitions (in Cracow, Warsaw, Katowice and Bytow) under the title "Kabul - Cracow: Bridges Through ART," with the aim of bringing the culture of Afghanistan closer.
