Wieslaw Majchrzak (1929-2011) - Polish illustrator, painter, cartoonist. One of the leading representatives of the Polish School of Illustration. In 1955 he graduated from the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. Immediately after graduation, he took up the task of restoring the facades of historic buildings in Warsaw's Old Town and the Old Town in Lublin. Awarded individually in many competitions. Author of graphic design for books, creator of a series of postcards, illustrator of children's magazines (among other things, he created for "Płomyczek").
