Biography
Łukasz Berger / Cekas is a multidisciplinary artist who creates on various levels such as graffiti, mural, sculpture and installation. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw, where he received his diploma in Janusz Kucharski's studio. He has been involved with the Polish graffiti and street art community since the late 1990s. Cekas' works are based on a sculptural perception of form relating to elements of the environment. In his works, the artist often operates with strong color combinations, creating spatial compositions. Cekas' 2015 installation "SILENCE" was included in a fine arts textbook as an example of contemporary art. His Interventions can be found on the streets of Europe, Asia and the United States.
