Born in Kwidzyn, the artist studied at the Faculty of Painting of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, graduating in 1981 in the studio of Prof. Stefan Gierowski. After graduation, he worked in television set design and art exhibition arrangement. In 1984, he founded the Art Gallery at the Warsaw International Airport. The following year, he co-founded the TWM Gallery in Geretsried, Germany. He organized many exhibitions working with artists from Holland, Italy and France. He was the author of the art arrangements for a number of exhibitions, including "Warsaw and its Museum," "The End of the Century," "The Art of Polish Modernism 1890-1914," which was considered the best exhibition of 1996, as well as "Paris and Polish Artists around E. Bourdell 1890-1918," and "The Mysterious Queen Hatshepsut." He has traveled extensively in Europe and the Far East - exhibiting there and creating his works.
