Krzysztof Nowicki (b. 1988) - graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk in 2013 with a degree in Painting in the studio of Professor Teresa Miszkin. He is the winner of the Grand Prix in the "Artistic Journey of Hestia 2013" competition. (scholarship in New York), Grand Prix of the 3rd Pomeranian Art Triennial at PGS in Sopot, honorable mention in the F. Eibisch Foundation competition. In 2021, he was nominated for the Strabag Kunstforum Artaward. In 2021, he received a Special Award in the Compass of Young Art competition. He was nominated for the 12th Geppert Competition (BWA Wroclaw), UAP Art Prize "New Image/New Look". In 2014 he was on an artist residency at the Hong Kong Arts Centre. His works are in the collections of, among others: National Museum in Gdansk, Imago Mundi Luciano Benetton, Artists Colony Foundation and in numerous collections in Poland and abroad. He is currently a doctoral student at the Doctoral School of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk. He lives and works in Gdansk.
