Krzysztof Karewicz b. 1953. Graduated from the State High School of Fine Arts in Warsaw and the High School of Fine Arts in Lodz with a diploma - Technician Plastic Decorator. Then he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw under the aegis of such professors as Stanislaw Poznanski, Leszek Holdanowisz, Adam Styka, Roman Owidzki, and after graduation he himself became a lecturer at the Post-Secondary School of Advertising in Warsaw. He taught in his atelier in Saska Kepa and prepared undergraduates for exams to art universities. On a daily basis he lives and works in England, in Poland he has his seasonal atelier and an author's gallery in the Augustow Forest in Macharcowy Dom.
Painter of faceless paintings - that's what they say about him. A colorist and symbolist. His paintings are cycles, often controversial in message. He has never modeled himself on any artist.
