Studied in Odessa and Penza, as well as in Moscow at the Higher Artistic Scientific and Technical Studio under the direction of V. Kandinsky. Since 1922 in Poland. Member of the Association of Artists Rhythm and Start grouping. He has exhibited many times in Poland and participated in the presentation of Polish art abroad. Currently known primarily for his perfect landscapes and still lifes, idyllic Polish views painted in the convention of colorism. The artist's creative, artistic attitude was shaped by cubism, futurism and constructivism. In the first period , the artist's work was influenced by post-cubism, he painted imaginary technical constructions, geometrized fragments of machinery, succumbed to the fascination of the technical world .later he assimilated the principles of colorism. He is also the author of abstract collage compositions. For several decades he painted a series of Cathedrals maintained in an impressionist manner.
