Kiejstut Bereźnicki is an artist constantly engaged in a dialogue with the old masters. The circle of his artistic interests includes classical still life, processed, however, in a neo-figurative way. His art can be read in accordance with the rules of modern iconography, from which Bereźnicki draws inspiration (the motifs and symbols remain consistent with the guidelines of the 17th-century Dutch), but formally he reaches for new compositional solutions and those that relate exclusively to the medium of painting. In his mature oeuvre, the artist decided to abandon surface textures in favor of flat lasering.
