Kazimierz PODSADECKI

Studied at the Industrial School in Cracow. He was interested in avant-garde typography. In the 1920s he designed the graphic design of the magazines "Zwrotnica" and "Linia". He participated in the first exhibition of the "Praesens" group. He painted abstractions with classical techniques, engaged in experimental photography, which he combined with graphic techniques, and practiced relief sculpture. Before the war, he cooperated with the avant-garde SPAF film studio in Cracow. After the war, he painted decoratively framed still lifes and landscapes as well as works bordering on abstraction.
