Katarzyna Janiak (b. 1998), Party on the plot, 2022

Katarzyna Janiak (born 1998) is a graduate of the painting department at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. She received her Master of Fine Arts degree in 2022. She defended her diploma in the atelier of Prof. Tomasz Milanowski. Her diploma titled "Celebrations"' could be seen at the Lufcik gallery in the House of the Visual Artist. In her work she deals mainly with painting, but also with artistic textiles.
The element that binds the two fields together are intense colors, often infantile, associated with childishness. Her paintings are personal in nature. In her paintings she combines figurative representations with abstract, simplified elements.
