Biography
From 1995 to 2000, he studied at the Wł. Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts at the Faculty of Textile and Fashion in Łódź, graduating with a diploma with honors. In 2005, he received a doctoral degree in fine arts from the Faculty of Graphics and Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz. In 2008, he received a postdoctoral degree from the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań. In 2012, he was awarded the title of professor of fine arts. From 1999 to 2011 he was a research and teaching employee at the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz. In 2002-2007, he co-founded the Interdepartmental Open Studio at the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz. Awarded many times, such as: Grand Prix of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage and Art&Business award at the 39th Bielska Jesień Painting Biennale, Bielsko-Biała; Jury's distinction and Format 8 award of the E. Geppert Painting Competition in Wrocław; Arteon Award for the best artist for 2008. He has had numerous solo and group exhibitions. His works are in museum collections: Museum of Art in Lodz; Zachęta Contemporary Art in Szczecin; Wyspa Institute of Art in Gdansk; Piekary Gallery in Poznan; Gallery Zero in Berlin, Biuro Wystaw Artystycznych Gallery Bielska, Bielsko-Biala; Municipal Art Gallery in Lodz.
