The author says of his vision for the painting:
Somewhere very high, two skies above, lives a being gifted with magical imagination. When night falls on Earth and people go into the arms of Morpheus, the mysterious being goes out to the edge of the firmament and casts a magic fishing rod. He catches dreams and from them builds magical worlds. The illusory worlds seem almost real. Sometimes the caught dreams fly back to earthly beings, endowing them with visions. Once they have saturated the material world and transmitted content, they are again captured by the dreamcatcher.
