Biography
Studied at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts in the studio of Tadeusz Pruszkowski and Wojciech Jastrzębowski in 1934-39. Interest in the development of sciences (the "avisual" world - as the artist himself said), studies of color, spatial and luminous phenomena resulted in works combined mostly in series. In 1969 the artist received the Cyprian Kamil Norwid Art Criticism Award.
