From 1951 to 1955, he studied at the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. He was a student of Eugeniusz Arct, Wojciech Fangor and Henryk Tomaszewski, among others. During and just after his studies, he made graphic designs for Polish exhibitions at international fairs. In 1964 he went to Paris on a scholarship, then in 1969 to the USA. In 1980 he settled in Denver, where he lived and worked. His extensive oeuvre includes easel and wall paintings, sculpture, printmaking and photography. We recommend your special attention to the described item. Works by Witold-K of this type are extremely rare at auctions. The artist was awarded the Silver Medal for Merit to Culture Gloria Artis by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage. This award is a wonderful accent showing the diverse fields of work of this already international artist.
