Biography
In 2017 she received her doctoral degree in the discipline of fine arts. Her dissertation on Syntheses - Limits of Recognizability was completed under the supervision of Prof. Richard Lugowski, PhD. In 2017 she was awarded a scholarship from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage for her project entitled Three Colors. From 2013 to 2017 she was a doctoral student at the Institute of Fine Arts at the Faculty of Pedagogy and Art at Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce. In 2015 she was awarded a scholarship from the Minister of Science and Higher Education for outstanding achievements for doctoral students. She has been ranked several times in the Kompas Young Art ranking. In 2016, she was ranked 13th in the ranking.
In 2015, she was in residence at the Nida Art Colony in Lithuania, where she completed a series of artworks entitled Pleasures of Collage. The artist's works have been published in numerous catalogs, newspapers and magazines. An article about her work appeared in Kolaj Magazine - a Canadian magazine dedicated to the most interesting phenomena in contemporary collage. The work entitled Black Venus was published in the album Nude in Polish Painting by Barbara Kokoska.
Between 2001 and 2006 she studied at the Faculty of Painting of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. She completed her diploma under the direction of Prof. Prof. Dr. Krzysztof Wachowiak. In 2004 she received a scholarship from the Ministry of Culture for outstanding academic performance. She was awarded several prizes in the Warsaw Graphics competition. In 2006 she won the Golden Branch of the 3A Artistic Agency for her thesis. In 2006, she was selected to participate in the International Triennial of Graphic Arts in Cracow as part of the Best Diploma project - the student and his promoter.
She has participated in more than 50 solo and group exhibitions at home and abroad, including Lithuania, Slovakia, Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Germany, Spain and Belgium.
For many years she worked in the field of graphic design. She worked with advertising agencies as an Art Director or Graphic Designer for such clients as Duracell, Samsung, Gillette, Accor Hotels, Poczta Polska, Fadesa Polnord, among others. He is also involved in art education. He is an academic lecturer at the WIT College of Applied Computer Science and Management.
