Julia Tymanska

Graduate of the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk.
Interdisciplinary artist involved in visual art, whose primary medium is painting. She mainly creates large-format paintings and sculptures/spatial objects, with color and strong links to pop culture as their dominant characteristics. In addition to her art practice, she is involved in developing grassroots initiatives in the Gdansk area. Her work has been shown in numerous solo and group exhibitions, including three times at CCA Laznia Gdansk and at Tower Bridge in London. During her studies, she was twice awarded the Scholarship of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage for significant achievements. She was also awarded prizes in the National Youth Painting Review, the Wojciech Fangor Painting Contest and the International exhibition #RYSOWAĆ and "Diplomas 2019-2021".
