The artist graduated from the Leon Wyczółkowski High School of Fine Arts in Bydgoszcz. Then he studied in the studio of Prof. Stanislaw Teisseyre in Poznan and in Gdansk with Prof. Kazimierz Śramkiewicz. He was also an assistant to Prof. Jerzy Zablocki at the Tricity school for several years. Today, he is a teacher at the High School of Fine Arts in Gdynia
