Joanna JEŻEWSKA-DESPERAK (b. 1969, Opole)
Graduated from the State High School of Fine Arts in Opole and from the Art Department of the Higher School of Pedagogy in Częstochowa (now the Jan Długosz University of Humanities and Sciences in Częstochowa). Diploma with distinction in the studio of printmaking under the direction of Prof. Ryszard Osadczy in 1997. Since 2007 he has been a member of ZPAP. She is engaged in painting, drawing and pedagogical work. In1994 and 2000 she received the Artistic Scholarship of the President of the City of Częstochowa. In 2017, the Department of Culture of the City of Częstochowa published the 2017 City Calendar with paintings by Joanna Jeżewska-Desperak. In 2020, she was awarded 2nd prize in the 25th International Eastern Art Salon in Lublin. In 2020, she was awarded a distinction in the 3rd National Painting Biennial "Architectural Landscape" in Bisztynek.
