Biography
From 1983 to 1988 she studied at the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Poznań (now the University of Arts in Poznań). She received her diploma with honors in the drawing studio of Professor Izabella Gustowska. Since 1989 she has been working at the Poznan University of Arts, and since 1994 she has been running a drawing studio at the Faculty of Art Education and Curating. In 2013 she was awarded the title of full professor. From 2002 to 2008 she served as vice dean, and from 2008 to 2016 as dean of the Faculty of Art Education at UAP. She is the recipient of many awards and scholarships, including: a scholarship from the Minister of Culture and Art (1990-1991, 1997) and the Minister of Culture (2005). In 2003, she received the Award of the Mayor of the City of Leszno for her artistic and pedagogical work in the field of dissemination of plastic culture in Leszno. In 2014, she was awarded the Bronze Medal for "Merit to Culture Gloria Artis." She works in drawing and painting. She is the author of dozens of solo exhibitions and has participated in many group exhibitions in Poland, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, France, the Czech Republic, Serbia and the USA. Her works are in many public and private collections in Poland and abroad.
