Biography
He is a graduate of the Faculty of Painting, Graphics and Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw. He received his diploma in 1997 in the Sculpture Studio of Professor Alojzy Gryta, but it was the years 2002-2007, when he studied painting in the studio of Professor Sean Scully at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich, that were his breakthrough. There, he says, he was born as a painter. Scully, twice nominated for the Turner Prize, is a representative of the color abstraction trend, also known as emotional abstraction. He is one of the most important artists of this trend, very highly ranked in all rankings of contemporary artists.
