Jerzy Wojciech Bielecki
Born in 1955 in Sejny. Since 1979 has lived and worked in Olsztyn. Studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun. Specialization - printmaking in the studio of Prof. Edmund Piotrowicz. Pursues painting, printmaking, drawing, illustration. Author of more than 40 individual exhibitions in Olsztyn, Gdynia, Warsaw, Torun,Wroclaw, Gorzow Wlk. and in Los Angeles, Anaheim, Garden Grove, Santa Ana and Paris, Gelsenkirchen, Kaliningrad , Roskilde.
He also participated in dozens of group and collective exhibitions, the most important of which are: "Ten Polish Painters", Athens1988, "Art Expo", Los Angeles 1991, "We are", Santa Ana1992,Autumn Salon in Paris -200.He repeatedly took part in national competition exhibitions, where he received for his painting - prizes and awards.
In 1984 - Scholarship of the Minister of Culture and Art.
He has a badge of Meritorious Cultural Activist and a badge of Merit to Polish Culture.
He has repeatedly participated in national and international plein-air painting events.
In addition to painting, he conducts pedagogical activities, teaching drawing and painting to young people and adults.
The artist's works are in the collections of the Museum of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, BWA in Olsztyn, MKiS in Warsaw, private collections in Western Europe, the USA, South Africa and Japan.
