Biography
Studied at the Faculty of Architecture of the Warsaw University of Technology. He made his debut as a painter and critic ("For and Against") in 1957. He published, among others, in "Przeglad Artystyczny", "Więzi", "Współczesność" and "Miesięcznik Literacki". At the same time, he developed his own work as a painter. He considered Artur Nacht-Samborski above all as his master. Over time, he developed his own style, not subject to fads. In both his watercolors and oil works, he brought to life a mysterious world of visionary structures, imaginative landscapes or reflections of archaic vegetation. In 1993, his posthumous exhibition was held at the CCA in Warsaw.
