Lucyna Ruszkiewicz is a graduate of the Poznan High School of Fine Arts. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan in 1998 with a diploma in painting in the atelier of Andrzej Leśnik. She is a certified art therapist. She runs a Developmental Studio for women, individual therapy. She paints with acrylic paints on canvases and has developed her own technique: she combines delicate brushstroke with strong energetic color spots. Light and almost transparent spaces of the canvas with expressive color often applied with impasto. The subject matter is almost always female emotions and human relationships. The extraordinary painterly sensitivity in telling women's stories is always thought-provoking. Using her knowledge of psychology and energy following her deep feeling, she paints one-of-a-kind Energy Portraits. Painting is her personal meditation, a form of communication with the world.
Paintings have been exhibited and participated in many art events. She also often supports charity auctions with her art. Lucyna Ruszkiewicz's works are in private collections in Poland and abroad: Germany, Austria, England, Denmark and the Netherlands, Switzerland, Luxembourg. All paintings are signed with Lucyna's Paintings brand, signature, title and date on the back of the canvas.
