oil, canvas, 80 x 60 cm, signed p.d.: : 'JJ 2012' and on the reverse: 'JJ|JAROSŁAW JAŚNIKOWSKI | "OGNIOLOT SZEŚCIENNY" | PASIECZNIK 26.08.2012|NR-515 [author's stamp]'.
Since 1991 he has been painting, which over the years has evolved from art remaining in the science-fiction trend, through surrealist art to steampunk style. Frequent motifs that appear in the artist's paintings are various kinds of machines - steam locomotives, flying colors and architecture (often referring to the Gothic). On his canvases the artist creates completely new worlds in which the familiar rules of science do not necessarily apply. Yasnikovsky's works can be found in private collections at home and around the world. He is the author of more than a dozen individual exhibitions (including Torun, Legnica, Gdansk, Szczecin, Wroclaw) and has taken part in dozens of group exhibitions.
