Biography
Studied at the Faculty of Graphic Arts, Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow (branch in Katowice). In 1975 he received his diploma in the poster studio of Prof. Tadeusz Grabowski and book studio of Prof. Stanislaw Kluska. Since 1977, he has been a teacher at his alma mater, where, as a professor, he runs his own drawing studio. He practices painting and drawing, as well as the theory of art and culture. He presents his works in numerous exhibitions at home and abroad. Repeatedly awarded and honored, he received, among others, the Silver Medal at the National Painting Exhibition Bielska Jesień in Bielsko-Biała (1989). Winner of the Bronze Medal for "Meritorious Service to Culture Gloria Artis" (2013) and the Artistic Award of the Marshal of the Silesian Voivodeship (2016).
