Painter. Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow under professors: Jarocki, Sichulski, Dunikowski, Filipkiewicz, Weiss and Wojnarowski. She painted views and architecture of Cracow, landscapes, portraits and still lifes, later specializing in painting flowers, lampshades and taking up designing folk costumes. At her father's request, she also completed a drawing teacher's course, although she never took up the job. Since 1937 she has been married to painter Wladyslaw Zakrzewski. They traveled together on plein air trips to Italy and France, where they supported themselves by selling live painted sketches.
