Painter, studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow (student of K. Sichulski and F. Pautsch, among others) and the State School of Decorative Arts and Artistic Industry in Poznań (1930- 1939). Head of the Department of Painting and Drawing at the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, president of the Cracow district of ZPAP. Very active professionally, recognized teacher. Participation in more than 160 individual and collective exhibitions at home and abroad. Husband of Janina Kraupe-Swiderska.
