Biography
Sculptor, painter, graphic artist, author of installations. Studied sculpture at the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Poznań. From an early period, his work focused on issues of space (the series PODWÓJNE WHEELS, 1962-1964 and 1967-1969). The next stage of exploration was the introduction of real space into the painting in the form of a hole cut in the canvas. Berdyszak's work also includes ephemeral actions. He has participated in many artistic events at home and abroad. He received the Art Prize of the "Od Nowa" Club in Poznań for his debut in painting and drawing (1960) and the Art Prize of the City of Poznań (1994).
